NCDC: Ajanah’s appointment will boost girl-child wellbeing in North Central– Miss Kogi

Queen Aisha Salau-Audu, the Little Miss Kogi, on Friday applauded Princess Atika Ajanah’s appointment as the Executive Director (Projects) of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC).
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that President Bola Tinubu has sought the Senate’s confirmation of board nominees for the South West Development Commission (SWDC), the North Central Development Commission (NCDC), and the South South Development Commission (SSDC). The president’s request was contained in a letter read by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, during the plenary on Thursday. Salau-Audu, in a statement in Lagos, who commended Tinubu for Ajanah’s nomination, described Ajanah as a cherished mentor and role model to many, saying her appointment would boost well-being of the girl child.
According to her, Ajanah, also the Senior Special Assistant to the President of Nigeria on Social Events, has received widespread praise for her dedication to community development. Salau-Audu commended Ajanah for her exemplary leadership and vision, expressing confidence in her ability to excel in her new role. She said that Ajanah remained a beacon of inspiration, with qualities that made her well-suited for the position.
Salau-Audu also described Ajanah as a paragon of passion, love with an unwavering commitment to the well-being of the girl-child. We hold Ajanah in the highest regards recognising her as a beacon of light in a world that craves strong female leadership and advocacy for the empowerment of young girls.

NAN reports that the regional commissions were established to accelerate infrastructural development, stimulate economic activities, and improve social welfare in their respective geopolitical zones.
