Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors hopeful of excellent performance in Kebbi
The Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors have expressed confidence of a top finish at the 2025 Nigeria Beach Soccer League, due to kick-off on March 31.
The coordinator/Media Director of the team, Okwudili Awam, said this in a statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Awka.
Awam said that the team had already arrived at Birnin Kebbi, the Kebbi State capitol, ahead of the league.
He said the battle-ready team would go into a closed and intensive camp with determination to finish top of the table at the end of the league.
“The team will undergo a lengthy camping period to prepare for the competition, which commences on March 31, in Birnin Kebbi.
“Last season, we made an impressive debut, finishing second behind champions Kebbi BSC.
“This year, we are determined to go one step further and claim the top spot,” he said.
The coordinator said that new players had been recruited into the Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors to bolster the squad.
He expressed the confidence that their talent and determination would see them to the top of the table.
“The Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors will face stiff opposition from reigning champions Kebbi BSC and other strong contenders, including Kada BSC and Kebbi United BSC.
“The 2025 Nigeria Beach Soccer League promises to be an exciting competition, with several top teams vying for the title.
“With our eyes set on the championship, we are ready to put in the hard work and dedication required to succeed.
“Our lengthy camping period in Kebbi State will provide us with the perfect opportunity to fine-tune our skills and strategies before kick-off,” he said.
